My absolute favorite boba place in Ventura County. When I need a sweet treat, I come here. When I have boba somewhere else? I always think "Man, I wish I'd gone to Chakaa instead". Everything on the menu tastes good. Everything is high quality ingredients. They do NOT use fake flavored powder for their taro drink; they use a ground paste with REAL pieces of taro in it. I don't think I've ever had a bad drink from Chakaa. They're my favorite boba spot that never disappoints ✌️

Chakaa Tea House is one of the best boba spots in Oxnard and I say that as a boba enthusiast. The cashier Annika was really nice and made the whole experience more fulfilling. The mango cheezo boba I got was splendid. I would definitely return in the future even though I live in Glendale!

This is a neat small tea shop in the Esplanade. It's tucked in the corner, but it's open a roomy inside. I used the kiosk to order a Peanut Butter Coffee, a recent new offering from them. I love peanut butter and coffee so I wanted to see how they come together here. First thing to note, I selected the option presented to me on the kiosk for "Less Ice". When I received my iced coffee, it was full to the max with ice, despite it printed right on the side of the cup stating Less Ice. I don't think they could have fit another ice cube in there. Taste - The coffee was semi bitter which would be OK with some cream or flavor. It appeared that they lined the cup with peanut butter, yet that really didn't flavor the coffee much. It wasn't until I finished the coffee that I noticed I had a full cup of ice and peanut butter. I used my finger to get a nice heaping taste of the peanut butter and itneaa delicious. Whichever peanut butter they are using here, It tasted really good! This was an interesting drink, yet poorly executed in my opinion. The coffee was okay, but the peanut butter was excellent. Now, only if they could somehow get them to mix together... A shaken coffee

Chakaa is THAT boba shop. The drinks are insanely flavorful, never too sweet, and literally always hit the spot. I love that they use high‑quality teas like jasmine, matcha, and roasted oolong (you can actually taste the difference). The fruit teas are bright and refreshing, and the boba is chef’s kiss. Their menu is huge. They have fruit teas, milk teas, Cheezo, tiramisu, brulee, just to list a few. The vibes inside are super chill, the staff is always sweet, and it’s just one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood. I always love coming here whenever I’m in the area.

Nice ambience, lots of seating especially for sitting down and getting work done. Service was kind and helpful with recommendations. Ordered 2 Drinks and they came out in less than 8 minutes. Foosball table available while waiting! A bit hidden behind L&L Hawaiian BBQ. Parking was easy to find and free 🆓 Area with dolphins for children to play. The establishment was clean and appeared well maintained. Prices were REASONABLE, however, they do charge extra for boba or if in general adding anything to the drink. Keep this in mind. If you decide to stop by, I recommend the strawberry cheezo drink. 🧋🍓
